Throughout May, Razer hosted a build battle competition inspired by the Minecraft X Razer theme, inviting contestants to showcase their new Minecraft-themed peripherals. I decided to take a shot at it by creating a complete Minecraft map featuring playable minigames.
Overview
The general theme is Agatha the friendly Creeper has been creepin’ it real with her sleek Razer gaming setup. (yes, it is likely the same Agatha that Stampy Long Nose met)
The Build
First up we have the BlackWidow V4 keyboard, Cobra Mouse And and Gigantus V2 mouse mat build. Both were pretty simple builds in terms of building, but as is typical with many Minecraft builds, getting the details right took a bit of tinkering.

Next we have Kraken V4 headset that Agatha is wearing so elegantly.
Lastly, we worked on the monitor and the actual PC. Both were really fun to build. I made the PC as detailed as possible, including RGB lighting, a graphics card, RAM, and a CPU. It also featured a cool Creeper and dirt block skin on the front.

The Monitor is animated using a custom Python script that is able to convert selected blocks in to MCFunction scripts which can then be played in sequence sort of like frame by frame of a normal animation.
Mini Games
There are 3 mini games on this map.
- Cobra Arena – A combat mini game where you have to combat 3 waves of the undead and slay them all to win.
- Basilisk CPU Defense – A mini game where you have to defend your CPU from buggy code by killing the bugs before they reach your CPU and damage it.
- BlackWidow RGB Parkour – A colorful parkour challenge.
My favorite by far is the Bug Defender. I really enjoyed the concept of having to stop bugs from reaching the CPU, and the way I implemented it was pretty fun. My friends who volunteered to test it had a blast.

Finishing up
In the end I came second which was an insane honour considering what I was up against. I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did and many thanks to Razer for hosting such a fun competition.
